Although first published in eighteen sixty-nine, Charles Kingsley’s Madam How and Lady Why remains a classic book on earth science. Presented as a series of easy conversations dealing with natural phenomenon like earthquakes, volcanoes, coral reefs etc, it gives readers a basic understanding of geologic and earth knowledge.

This edition is presented complete and unabridged, including all of the intricate illustrations featured in the original publication.
